Is this swap emissions legal in virginia if it goes into a 240sx?

Care to enlighten me on how this is achieved? Im thinking swaping to the usdm IM (this is in a fwd b13 btw) so I can keep the EGR system. Will it pass a sniffer test?

catalytic converter is all thats needed. A couple guys on Freshalloy got their cars to pass the sniffer. it was way under the requirements too.....they all had cats on thier cars and stock setups.

Shoot if you had a standalone i can make it pass without a cat in there.(maybe)

you're gonna do a JDM sr from a Blue bird and put a USDM intake manifold on it? just to keep EGR?


save your time/trouble. the stock bluebird will pass emisions. if a working cat is in place.

 

It wont pass a visual without an EGR valve.

 

who does visual in virginia?


let me go ahead and say dont answer that. Go ahead and keep going to whoever does your inspections now.

 

I think North VA does a visual inspection.
