ive buried my 2wd deeper than a lot of my friends 4wd trucks, and i always get pulled out by the stock hooks, and never had any trouble. im sure some of you saw my truck tearing through the mud in new kent last week, so you know i can bury it good. i have straightened hooks on a 98 s-10 before, and it was buried really bad, so badly that it ripped the bumper right off my 79 chevy, ripping the bolts right through the frame.
