yeah, the plunger might just be gunked up, i've seen that happen on all kinds of BOVs, especially if u dont run an inline filter (a la HKS SSQV)

the wastegate was actually the problem, after i took it apart it turned out that the diaphram was pinched and torn so i borrowed a wastegate from a friend and that fixed the problem. Thanks for all the help guys.
