Shit, my motto is do it right the first time. No need to spray it and not be happy with it. His last paint job he had done on his GT came out nice.

 

We're talking about a Civic here. Like I said, if you want to spend big money for a really nice paintjob on a $2000 car, then go for it. If you'd rather save some dough on the paintjob that you could spend on other things, take my advice. He'll still end up with a VERY good looking Civic, and have some leftover dough. Plus, like I said, the colors you suggested sound great, but if it's not an A+ paint job, it'll look worse than a simple color like I suggested.

Plus, I tend to lean toward individuality. Pearl or not, a white civic isn't going to catch your eye, either is a black one. They're common. So he would have spent XXX amount of money for a damn near stock looking car. I say take a little risk and do something that's going to make the car stand out, without looking gawdy.
