need advice on 2000 prelude
I just recently bought a 2000 Honda Prelude and it's completely stock, except for a K&N Filter. I want to get more horsepower but I want to keep the mods subtle. What can I do to get more power for a decent price without boosting it?
thats pretty much what i was thinking, strictly bolt ons cuz i dont wanna ruin something nice. headers is a definite. how big of a difference would the manifold and throttle make? how bout this, how much power gain can i get from headers, intake manifold, and throttle body? those are the easiest...
you won't ruin anything with nitrous if you do it the right way..
you won't get any more than 5-7 whp with the cheaper headers.. you could buy one and then do a 2.5" collector mod..
header(dc/greddy)/IM/TB you are looking at 10 whp probably..

is there anywhere i can look and see product reviews and how much horsepower products give you? also, does the 2.2 VTEC have electronic lsd??

i had a 93 prelude with jdm h22 with all the standard bolt-ons. it was fun but to get that tank moving so that it would be considered fast you need forced induction.
you are probably thinking of an SH model, not exactly LSD..
Just keep the car as it is, a very nice handling all around sporty car..
if you want somethin fast, maybe get a project car..?
