I have the AEM power pulleys and I get charge at idle, not as much as with the stock pulleys but I get charge. Good grounds will take care of the dimming from the pulleys. I doubt if the pulleys are the reason that he is stalling out. Did you set the valve lash for the new cams??

found out why it kept cutting off, was because idle on a gsr should be set around 800 and when it was a b16 it was around 650 to 700. so all i had to do was increase the idle. im thinking of upgrading the ground wires because the gauges are still dimming.

Check the alternator like the other guy said. My friend has the same problem but its reversed. His alternator die so he got a new one from advance and it was missed so it over charges. Its dim until his car hits 5200 with his powerband then it gets really bright and blows a fuse. He can't return it because they deleted his warrenty and he reruses to spend 200 on a new one.
