So I'm going back to college and somethings got to give, I think my 1000 is the most expendable of all my toys so probably going to be selling it here really soon. Anyone interested at all? 2005 GSXR 1000, yellow black, 9,000 miles, maintained obsessively, pretty much stock, i think i'm going to be looking for around 7,500 but trying to get a feel for some local interest before i drop the hammer and put it on ebay

I've put the bike all back to stock so I'm going to be selling the accesseries that I had on it, smoked LED signals, hotbodies undertail, arata CF slip on, yoyodyne frame sliders, harris front and rear axle sliders, switchable derestricter, suzuki tinted double bubble screen... if you interested in any of it let me know

if i put it on ebay i'd be looking to start bidding at 7,500 and let it go up for there, but i'd prefer a quick no games local sale to a good home so i'd take that for it

 

9k miles in one year on a bike is high...........................7500 is a good price; not a cheap one.

 

How is 9k miles on a bike high ?? not every one is a on a boat all the time some of us actually ride..and btw why is somebody else selling an RR just like yours on cycle forums??

Damn Bret, you're making me feel like shit. I sold my 6 so i could afford school, and I still got an educational loan to get my 1k. You wont be able to live without. Might as well make ends meet with it while going to school. You'll miss her dude. She's too pretty a bike. Besides, I thought you were getting ready to do somethin with the rims?

 

9k isn't high milage. i put ALOT more miles than that on some of my bikes in a year.

if i was in the market for a sportbike, i'd be all over it. good luck with the sale man, you can get that price for it easy, especially this time of year.
