Speed sensor for 97 Accord

Default Speed sensor for 97 Accord

The speed sensor on my sister '97 Ex Accord is messed up, it doesn't work most of the time and sumtimes it pops up to the speed u doin then goes right back and stays at 0.Tha speed sensor is gone right? How do i put a new one in? Bout how long will it take to do this?how much does a new one cost and how much does a used on cost?

call woodfin used honda parts "they are in richmond" they will give you a good price. sorry I dont know their number but I know you can google it at it will pop up.Speed sensor or speedo might be your problem. if its the speedo all you have to do is take off one 10mm bolt and pop off the speed sensor and the speedo just comes out of the transmission. Speed sensor I have replaced just by splicing the few wires. Very simple, and all is located ontop of your tranny, if the car is all stock there might be some stuff overtop of it so you might have to do a little bit of looking.

Yup......you could just do that^^^^

I dunno the numbers of any of the local shops out here aside from Driftek, and from what I've heard the shops not around anymore/rightnow so I just posted that site so you'd know the price

i thought my speed sensor was shot but it was just dirty and loose. just check it and play around with it. make sure its in there all the way.
