Default Frog Gigging

This is probably stab in the dark, but has anyone been or would like to go bullfrog gigging one night this week?

All my buddies can't make it and its a prime week right now for it. I'll supply everything, all you need to do is ride with/show up. Let me know.

Yes, I eat them, and yes, they taste eerily like chicken wings.

You go around the perimeter of a pond at night with a spotlight and a 4-pronged gig (spear on the end of a 10ft. cane pole) in a boat. Once person paddles while the other holds the light looking for their eyes. Once locked, then that person give the paddler the light, grabs the gig, and nails the little fucker. Then you put the frog in a bag and continue on your way. There are snakes and mocassins that hear/smell the frogs and on more than one occasion I have had them crawl into the boat going after my bag.

You then take the frogs home, kill them, skin them and sautee or fry them in a pan and enjoy.

Now, if you haven't done it before it'd be a once in a lifetime experience you could tell people about. If you have done it, you know how much fun can be had and what a good time it is. I have everything; boat, pond, gig, beer, gun (for the snakes), all I need is another person. Experience is greatly wanted.

Man. Sounds like fun. Especially if beer is being provided.

This isprobally going to be a bit to country redneckish for 99% of this board.

I would if I didnt have to work, I havnt done it in years. Possum hunting, fox hunting froggin ... all fun as hell to do when you live in the country and are bored out of your mind at night.

I eat frog legs as well, but dont think anyone in my house other than my little sister would even attempt to try them .
