ROFLMAO!! I figured you would have forgotten all about that. Some coworkers were giving me shit about that on Friday when we were doing work in that same room and I mentioned the desk that I "utilized" at the time was still there.

I might actually look into working up there. I've been considering it lately.
Put in a resume at the very least. Hell, if it isnt something you want to do then tell em "no thanks". Theyve got more work than they know what to do with right now and a couple old timers croaked in the last ~3 weeks so I know theyre short at least two ppl LOL.
Are you off all week for shut down too?
I managed to get out of working two days of shut down but us maintenance guys are usually required to work most if not all of it. Theyve got so much business right now that shut down is minimal with no huge projects so I managed to wrangle a couple days off unlike last years shut down where we practically dismantled the entire plant and put it back togeather in 9 days. That one was hell....

Damn, I couldn't pay you enough for what I would need. What do you do now? Looks like you can do a lot of shit.
Keep in mind Im pushing 40yrs old and have been a lot of places, done a lot of shit, and continue to challenge myself with anything that interests me. I like to learn shit. It came from having undiagnosed ADD when I was in school (back before they knew what it was) so I was labelled a retard by uneducated ppl who didnt have a clue as to what they were talking about. Once I got older I quit believing I was a retard/slow/dumb and took it upon myself to show those dumb asses that they were wrong in their "expert opinion". I found out that not only am I not nearly as dumb as ppl (or myself for that matter) thought that I enjoyed a challenge and soaked up technical/hands on stuff like a sponge. Now Im WAY more qualified in most everything than those same "authority figures" (read guidence councelors, teachers, and my parents) would ever hope to be. Writing software still makes my head hurt but other than that I dont think I'll ever go hungry because I cant find work due to lack of skills.

I dont wanna come off arrogant here as I really hate arrogance but Im pretty damn proud that I came from podunk up bringings, was labelled border line retarded by "experts" but I have worked my way up to knowing a very broad spectrum of very useful things (and some not so uesful things).

Dont think you can afford all that....if youre in business it depends on what the person that youre looking at is worth to you. If your business needs none of the things I listed and just someone with a pulse Im not worth a dime to you. If your business needs someone with the same abilities I listed as well as more I didnt list a net yearly income of 70-75k would suffice for me. A couple weeks vacation (I dont usually take vacations so two weeks is plenty) some stock options/profit sharing and coworkers that have similar talents as mine and youre company will not only be profitable but it'll kick ass too.

I'm ptting a forged motor in it, for all you know I could have been driving around and blew it up or something. But of course, you are MR. Know it all.

I understand it takes more than power to go fast, I've seen it happen. SingleTurb007's car should have been faster than yours, but I never expected a 17 year old being able to out drive you. Its funny, because I have always gave you props on your car, and I have always thought it was bad ass. And for some reason people always just put me down and make fun of me when I claimed these times I was going to run, my goals.

Anyway, we all know the 3800 lb. Cobra would have trouble with the little RX-7, and we might never know if I can drive or not. But, if the cars doesn't sell, I still don't know if I'll run it. Don't know if its really worth it to me to get in trouble or break something. I WILL always know the truth though, so thats all that matters. I know, might as well call me a tool, a fag, a pussy, whatever. Thats nothing knew to me from this forum.
Damn, seems you know more about whats done to my car and how it runs and could run then I do. You're also good at indirectly telling me what my car shouldn't run. Maybe you should be a tech on an svt forum so you can tell other mustang guys what their heavy cars won't run with a few mods. And then you can explain how a lighter rx7 with a big turbo that spools at 5k will outrun a mustang with more power and twice the torque. And who is "we all" because I don't remember that group wanting to put money down on the little rx7.

Wow. What a lame ass thread.

I respect what Dex has said and what he is doing..

As for people still saying this and that, he got the car weighed, the engine dynoed.. put two and two together.. Yea, he could have traction issues, derrrrr.. but not everyone is so nutso about a dragstrip car and what it can do from a stop..

I guess this sounds kinda funny, but I'd rather have a car that runs 12.5 @ 125 mph than one that runs 11.5 @ 110.. but I'm not really all crazy about drag racing.

I would rather have something that can handle outside of a straight line.

Why do you want those cars mentioned above? I'm just looking to sell my car and get something with room, good gas mileage, and a warranty.
Mercury Marauder=4 door like the Crown Vic with basically a Cobra motor and plenty of space. Oh and sexy as hell.

Crown Vic= 2V 4.6 V8 like the Mustang GTs though I would rather own the 4V personally

Golf TDI= Gas mileage.

I really have yet to really decide what I want to get. I would personally love to own the Marauder. If I can get a chance there is one across from the hotel I am at and want to take a look, test drive and such.

I know exactly what you car could run, and exactly what you did run.

5K? This isn't a big turbo man. Do you know anything about turbo sizes or how well a rotary spools a turbo? More power, maybe a bit. Blake was running 17 PSI. At 17 PSI, dyno numbers average 430 whp. It weighs 1000 lbs. less. Torque isn't as big of a deal from a roll, but still you probably make 120 ft. lbs. more.

However, you won't get that torque advantage on me.

BTW, noone wanted to put money down for a reason. Blake had already lost to slower cars because of driving skills. He does do okay for his limited experience, but he wasn't but so good.

I don't have anything against you, but everything I have always heard from you guys is laughing, making fun, and putting people down. You all made fun of Blake and how bad he drove. You act like noone can beat you, especially any import cars. I asked you to run someone I know, you never got back to me. If you finally want to run him, PM me. I have 2 guys that just like to run, and are/were looking to run for fun. Unless you are scared of little turbo Hondas or Singled Supras. You know, FWD POS's and 12 second dyno queens.

Again, I don't want to keep this going. I am getting tired or arguing about cars. Its a never ending story.

Thanks guys. Like I said before, this isn't a drag car. If it was, it would get a solid rear and slicks. It would also be an auto. I also love taking turns and tracking cars. I built this so I could also do that.

Just tell me this dude with the hatch's first name, Ill bet you dont know it , why are you gonna tell patton to run somebody you dont really know. And just like every thing else in your life Inheriting a business, are you ever gonna get out of daddys shadow? I mean good god 2, 20000 dollar cars paid for by 20. I actually backed u up in the beginnin, I went back to like page 8 and actually checked it, but then, I dont know, you started annoyin me. And even if this car gets done, I really believe zero respect to u, cause you own a fast car, built by shops COMPLETELY it seems, have you actually done anything to this car or just have daddy pay to doit. Btw, whatever your name is with the hobra, like team america says, "Lick my ass, and suck on my balls". <<Even grammered that one up for you.
