Ok from the sounds of the posts and the credable people they are coming from i guess ill get it fixwd the right way. Im not very good with this kind of work, does anyone know who is?

Perhaps I should have more strongly worded that not replacing the line was a temporary fix at best.

As for doing it correctly, installing hard lines is simply a matter of unbolting the old line and installing the new line. This is a job that anyone that can do. However, you need a flare nut wrench to do this. Do not, under any circumstances, skimp and try to use an open ended wrench.
