Nah...... high prices drove down consumption, hurricanes have stayed out of the gulf, end of the "driving season", and a somewhat calm period internationally, have all contirbuted to speculators getting out before it bottoms out. It peaked at $80 a barrel and as of today it sits at $65 a barrel, so they are bailing before it flattens out in the $50's, which most analyst agree is the actual price it should be. All I can say is everyone better be glad it did not hit what the speculators were hoping for, near $100 a barrel, which would have placed it over $4.00 a gallon........................
