Default Camp Site Locations

My church is planning on going camping. I was wondering if anyone know's any good spots where you can camp with a tent or cabin (either or, or both), you can hike on a trail or hill, go canooeing (sp), fishing, and anything else fun like that. I would try and go to a military base but not everyone at the church is military and everyone would like to take their own vehicle. I would like to go somewhere relatively cheap or free and either in VB or Chesapeake. If anyone knows a good spot please post it up. Thanks! Oh and it would be no more than 30 people. Thanks for all comments in advance.

Last time I went to seashore state park i remember it being expensive and the lots were small and you couldnt have fires after like 8pm or something. Northwest river is pretty good, you might also consider the Blue Ridge parkway / Shenandoah area. Couple hours away but well worth it. http://www.gocampingamerica.com is one website, I used to have a really good website with user reviews of campsites i'll try to find it.

found it http://www.rvparkreviews.com

Thanks for the info! I was considering seashore state park (aka 1st Landing state park) because it is 2800 acres, and right on the beach, but if you said it has small lots and expensive, iono. I will still go there and check it out. I definately want to do some canooeing or something and I know that North West has it at a good rate, but first landing state park only has kayaks at $50 per person and can only fit 1 person, yea okay that's madd expensive. I'll check that other site you posted. Thanks again!
