Best sportbike...
600. its lighter, and its fast enough, trust me. suspension can be adjusted on
any bike, so you wont have to worry about that.
a noob on a liter, is an accident waiting to happen ..not trying to offend
you but, its the truth. bikes are scary machines, you disrespect that thing
at the wrong time, and you'll pay for it.
can't beat the manuevering and the light weight of a 600. unless you wanna
be the fast shit in a straight line, then might as well get the 1400 ninja. lol.

honda cb750.
no ferring, so if you drop it, your not dishing out a lot of cash to make it look all pretty again.
and as a squid, your gonna drop it at least once.

I have always rode my GSX-r 12 months out of the year no problem? You don't need more then a 600 i used to have a 97 SRAD 600 that was pretty built. When I upgraded to a 2006 this year i got a new GSX-R 600. People make all the excuses in the world for riding a 1000 but plain and simple it is just not needed on the street. Most of my friend and i all ride 600's and could dust 1000 on any stretch of road. Weight wise i weigh about the same as you actually i weigh more, my buddy weighs like 150-160 and i am -1 in the front on the same exact bike and am the exact same speed as him. In summery, I went to the dealer. With no problems like money, insc, ect. I could of picked any bike i wanted. The 600 was for me>

+1 love my k6 !!! 600 its all you need on the streets
Why don't you get an 05/06 Kawasaki 636? For that matter, anything 03 and on up? You don't NEED a bigger bike than that. IMO, no one does. Are you going to be drag racing? Commuting to and from work? Just cruising around? What do you need a bigger bike for? There was an 18 year old kid on a Hayabusa at the bike shop not too long ago wearing t-shirt, shorts, and a helmet that didn't fit him. It was his first motorcycle, and he had zero experience. You know what he asked? He asked how to TURN!!!! Yes, how to turn--and he meant exactly that. He tried to turn the bars everywhere.
Is it really that important to be the cool guy on the block?

Lol went to florida yesterday everyone i saw was like that 18 yr old on the hyabusa. If you asked them 3 brands of motorcycle jackets they would probably be like why would i need a jacket i live in florida. haha even helmets for that matter
if you are a first time rider, my personal opinion would be a 600cc or a 750. a 1000cc is a little larger for a beginner bike. even with your larger frame, albeit your only 20 lbs/2 inches taller than me. hell i started on a 250cc...aprilia RS250 that is. damn i miss that bike.
