Any place around here for a gear install?
Specifically one that has domestic experience(sorry guys) And one that does good work for a reasonable price.
I know of shops in nova and virginia beach that I can go to, but I am here for the summer.
I am thinking of having some 4.10's put in sometime this summer. Best quote I have right now is a shop in vb that will do it for $399 for parts and labor.
anybody?

Sam with the '96 Impala SS had his gears put in at pro engine. Seems to be working fine for him.
Adam runs pro engine and his number is 381-7898, it's in christiansburg and he stays pretty busy most of the time. Definately give him a deadline for the install, say you NEED it by so and so, or he'll put it off.
He seems to do decent machine work, definately the cheapest labor-wise around. He did some headwork for friends and I in the past, and I currently have some ford heads over there being milled and cut for larger ss valves.

I just called there. $150 for install which is a really good price. I would have to provide all parts though which would run around $250. So, it's about the same as the place I know of in vb. Pro engine is so much closer though....
