My DD... 1990 Accord, Wont start.. Any Ideas??
The car is a 1990 Accord With a 2.2L/Automatic. I had it warming up the other day and it suddenly just cut off. It was just idling for about 10 minutes while i was talkin on the phone, i cant remember, but i think the A/C was on (if it means anything).
So i figure it might have vapor locked, since it has been an issue with my other accord. waited a few minutes, tried it again, would start, stumble and die. tried some Starting fluid, it wouldnt even pop with that stuff. So that led me to believe i had a spark issue.
I pulled a plug, grounded it out and have no spark what so ever. My next idea was cap and rotor, no go. I checked the Coil, I see about 1.1 Ohms of resistance between the 2 terminals and good readings from the wiring.
What is next?? I am stumped. The fuses are all good, the plugs are decent, the wires are good, the cap, rotor and coil are all checking out fine...
Is there somthing else in there that I am overlooking?? ( I am not a honda person, so dont know too much about them)
Thanks, if you need more info, let me know I can get you whatever you need!

The ignition switch, look in your manual for testing. Could be a bad ecu ground or power. Haynes won't cut it, if it is wireing to the ecu, you will need a helms. I have had both happen to me in my civics.

I havent gotten into anything more on it, but gonna look into the ignitions switch, and check all the wiring by the ECM.
we have 2 90 accords, tryin to make one good one out them, one runs, but has 230K this one that wont start has only 120K miles, but its a rust bucket...
