I took it around th eblock today and all I can say if it runs as good as it feels we should lay down good #'s next time at the track....
The motor is :
434 CI SBC 14 to 1
Motown Block
AFR 235 CNC Ported Heads
Jessel Shaft Mount Rockers
All 4340 Internals with studs on EVERYTHING
Been 9.80's on motor in a 3300lb car. My setup should be 300lbs lighter and more areodynamic in my car. I am hoping for 9.60-9.70 on motor and 8.80's on the little NOS hit.... We will see....

That is the problem with SBC 400 blocks. Its only bored .030 over. 400's are famous for splitting the walls. I had concrete and splayed caps on that motor trying to help but I knew in time it would let go.

while I'm not typically into hybrids the melding of a lightweight foxbody and a high horse turboed LS series engine is mouth watering......I'm sure a 434 inch 14:1 SBC will get it done too though =)

Doesn't that slow it up some compared to 93? I know my car spools considerably slower and makes noticeably less power whenever i add anything higher than 93 to it. Of course i am right on the edge but it does make a difference in ET for me.
