i was looking at this on ebay and i wanted to know if any one had a opinion on it, ive seen them usd, but dont know anyone with one

 

I call b.s. This would be filed with the "Tornado" intake insert, right into the trash can!

Well ... it might add some torque, which in turn would add HP. That's what long intake manifold runners do.

Now if that thing does anything ... doubt it. Like one of the above posts said until there's a dyno sheet it's all just advertising talk. Even then it's suspect, maybe they reset the ECU right before the test.

 

complete waste of money. it isnt even going to swirl the air. it might restrict airflow over a stock TB though, considering the thing protrudes into the intake path a little bit...

 

There should be dozens of brands of these on the market if it actually worked... there could be a small increase theoretically, but that's just BS to claim a roughly 15% increase in HP.. This isn't a carburated chevy you know, it's a log manifold FI i-4... What a great idea to try and fool people though, I'm sure someone will buy it..
