why do you all you beginners waste you time with California Rolls?

why dont you try the BEST sushi? you are wasting your time with that worthless crap.

Stay away from California Rolls.

P.S. If you only like California Rolls, you are NOT a sushi eater, so dont tell others that you eat sushi.

thanks

Spicy tuna is always a good one. You need to get some of the real crazy shit though.

Nothing here touches the sushi I had in Japan though.

ok well where are you going?

First, dont order anyu California Rolls.

Second, dont order any basic rolls, like salmon or tuna rolls.

Order something thats deep fried. Those are the best for beginners.

Try ordering a Rainbow Roll too. Those are the best variety of cold sushi that you can get. it basically a california roll with different type of fish layed on top. It lets you try a different assortment of fish to see what you like.

Majority is this, if you dont like, you didnt try the right stuff.

If I were you, id order peices before ordering the entire rolls.

One roll I would recommend to beginners is the Spider Roll (Deep fried Softshell Crab).
Besides, most places around here have details about whats in the roll so you know what you are eating before you get it.

I don't eat all that weird shit. Like octopus, eel, uni, etc. Just, no.

And yes, I do eat California Rolls and yes, I know they're not sushi. Sue me. But I also do eat spicy tuna and salmon rolls. Also I've had the Futo Maki roll a few times. And I can't remember what it was call, but a Cali Roll with baked whitefish on top with some sauce. Pretty good. There's others I've had. But some of that stuff can get expensive. Like $8+ for a roll. Nothing wrong with that, you get what you pay for, and skimping on sushi is a bad idea.

Also, Mahi Mah's has a sushi bar. Been there a few times. They're pretty good. Can't remember the prices though ...
