Default Ran at Battle of the Imports 6/14

I finally was able to run my new Rsx-S down the track tonight.
My last run of the night was a 15.7 @ 90mph and the temps were still hovering about 85 degrees, damn it was hot and humid out there tonight.

I also got to see a jet car run a 5.3 at 292 mph, crazy fucking loud.

DragVa got some mad props from Kenny tonight on the loud speaker.

Another RSX ran a 14.3, he came from North Carolina, he had a buddy with a turbo kit but he was smoking before he even ran, sucks.

Only five runs on the car so far and until I do something about wheel hop, i wont run again. Let's see, here is my best run

r/t .853 (sucks)
60' 2.445
330 6.779
1/8 10.244
1/4
15.703 @ 90.13 mph

My reaction times are consistently in the .8's and my 60 foot times stayed in the 2.4s. I did better in RT and 60FT with my civic but I also ran the car way more than I have the RSX. RSX has a steeper learning curve but every run I pulled a tenth off my times.

hey, farfenugen! when i get a 'good' launch my mph is right at 88-89. here's an example of why you trapped at 94:

reaction: .86
60': 2.47
1/8 et : 10.06
1/8 mph: 72.24
1/4 et: 15.5066
1/4 mph: 91.17

bad launches lead to better mph (if ur spinnin... by the time you hook up, you're already movin. it's like takin off from a roll vs. from a stop)

OK I lost to a white integra but here is what I dont understand...i ran a 15.743 @89.67 versus his 15.840 @90.35, I r/t .852 vs his .733. My times were better than his all the way down the track but his mph was always faster and he wins?? Can anyone explain?

it depends on what you dialed in compared to what he dialed into as well... bracket racing may seem complicated... but it's a simple concept once it's explained once.

what was your dial in compared to his?
