Pics Of The 03 Cobra W/ Brembos
You didnt read what I posted. I didnt say braking had nothing to do with whats done to reneponac's car. I said it had nothing to do with frame stiffening. Putting a frame kit in a car doesnt decrease braking distance. Everything else done to reneponac's car has nothing to do with frame stiffening, but only correcting Fords horrible stock suspension geometry.
So when is this 140-0 race gona happen? I can tape it from my Miata since I can stay outfront of both of you to 140 and all.

What do you think that Miata run in the quarter. High tens? If so I dont think it is going to be out front for too long, I hope haha.

Sorry to go a bit off topic, but even with level 5 half shafts, youi will probably still snap them periodically at a sticky track. You need a live axle, like I've got to keep it in one piece consistantly. What Blower do you have?
Good luck with all your mods, PM replied to.
+1 if you plan on going to the track often w/ sticky tires and 5k launches dont waste your $$ on the lvl 5's. go w/ a straight axle. the weight reduction is an added benifit too. if i would have kept the car, thats what i would have done. you still have the stock eaton on there on did you go w/ a kenne bell. 10's are gonna be tough w/ the eaton unless you plan on adding a little gas to it.
I'll need about a 2mi straight to get to 140 with my stock motor. It'd be an interesting test. I've never done a straight up brake race but I have been on track with a couple stock suspension 03-04 cobras and so far they've only held me up.
I'd love to have the power though.
Definetly do a live axle swap. It's better no matter how you race it.

I will never put a live axle in I love the feel of the IRS too much. Its gonna stay a street car. I have a live 8.8 sitting in my V6 if I ever get tired of it, which I wont. I really dont car about weight reduction. That just means I need to do more suspension mods and add more power (safely)

They prolly wheel hopped and didnt let off. Thats how majority of people break them.
Specially if you dont have all those extra bushings, spacers and bullshit needed to not break those level 5's from those dumps.
