Default Fender Rolling

Anyone in the area have an Eastwood tool for fender rolling?

I need my rear fenders rolled and I'm really not interested in buying one for $250 to use it once.

If you do and you wouldn't mind doing my fenders, I would happily compensate you.

Thanks.

Can't you buy it and return it?

What size rear you going with?

I suppose I could buy it and return it; however, the risk of me possibly being out $250 is completely eliminated if someone in the area has the tool and does it for me.

I actually had 275/40/17s on the back of my car. When I went with a 1" spacer, it rubbed my tires and cut them slightly. I took the spacers off, but I can't stand the way the rear wheels sit in from the fenders. I want to roll the fenders so I can get the wheels/tires back flush with the fenders.

There was a guy on www.LS2GTO.com who bought one and was loaning it out to folks who needed to do a fender roll. It's been a long time since I have seen any threads about it, so I'm not sure if it's still being passed around. All he asked was that the receiver paid for the shipping. Several guys used it and there was, last I checked, a waiting list.

You can do a search over there and see if it is still available, how long the waiting list is, and if they mind if you use it. If it's still available maybe you can get in touch with the owner. I'm not sure how much the shipping was...

Good luck

Edit: Looks like the tool is still making the rounds. I did the search. The guy who owns it is Snafu. Here is the tread he started. Looks like it's 40 bux to rent it.

You give me the money Vince I have enough posts/creditibility on that site to get it if you want it.

Word. I'll continue the search locally, but if nothing turns up, I will let you know, Nick.

Next time you are at Rocket, ask Mauro about it. He may be able to hook you up real quick. He is there every weekend and every Mon-Wed-Fri evenings.

Do you just need them rolled or do you want them pulled? I've done several 240s...don't include Dan's in looking at how I can use the tool as we both decided to rush through it. What kind of car is it? If you just want them rolled it'll be easy, pulling takes time and Dan's car is the only one I've tried it on.
