hahahah the person who annoyed the hell out of me THE MOST on that forum is the chick with the celica, O MY GOD. shes honestly the main reason which drove me away from posting on that forum or going to meets.

That's perfectly fine if ONE person got on your nerves and made you not come back, but what I don't understand is that since ONE person made you feel that way, we all become fags? I'm sure you'll meet alot of people you won't like in life but don't let that one person lead you to judge the rest. I'm sorry the site and people may have left a bad taste in your mouth but whenever I have been at meets people have had a good sense of what to do and what not to do because as you definitely pointed it out, it is Fairfax.

As for the whole people thinking their car is better than everyone else's...

doesn't seem that way in that thread posted by your's truly. And your "not visiting anymore" thing, well you seemed to stop by last on January 10, 2007. Again I'm not trying to be a dick at all and don't want to come off as one, but I'm trying to mediate between here and there because I DON'T want people to think we are bad and a bunch of assholes when that is not the case at all. Hell, give us another chance if you want to because I won't mind at all. I'm all about the website and the meets becoming more active by mature individuals, and if you have a concern take it up with us and don't badmouth everyone on another website.

Yea i posted that before i ever went to a meet. after that i greatly stopped visiting other than to try n sell my EBC. You're right i stopped by there hoping someone had pm'd me about buying my boostcontroller since i had 1 guy who said he would pick it up then when i came time to set up a meeting spot he never replied again to say anything. I felt differently about the group and site before going to a meet. I gave it a chance, i didn't like it. who the fuck really cares though.

Every site has its good members and its bad members...ECB doesnt restrict anyone from being a member and posting on the site.
There are a lot of great guys/girls on the site and I would challenge anyone that thinks differently to join up and test my opinion. The cars are irrelevant and no enthusiast site should be stereo-typed by the cars owned by members; there are a shit-load of 'junkers' on VAD but you dont see ECB slinging that around.

I was on that thread for a hell of a long time and left for the reason of ignorant people spouting off all over the place. So far, this site has been even worse. Give me a date for when the next meet is schedueled, and I will most definitely make you swallow your pride.

I came to this forum because I thought it would be a nice place to discuss things car-related with people from the area. But shit, I'm 15 years old so I must not know a fucking thing about cars. And if I do, its because I picked it up in Da FA$t &nD dA FURiiOuzz!!1!

Whoa killer take is easy, refer back to my post where I said don't get butt hurt. It's obvious you did. The reasoning for my post is there are a lot of kids on here that don't last long because they lie half of the time saying they know this and they have that, well your parents have that. All I was saying is it's a lot different reading about something and saying you know what you are doing and actually getting your hands dirty and working on cars. Experience is also a tool to have when you say you know what you are talking about.
No I am not going to scan streetfire.net so I can look at 8 pages of your dad's car. Also I am not ignorant nor spouting off, but just talking. I see you only want to meet up at a meet, so what that you can have 50 of your friends their listen to you run your mouth? No where did I say I wanted to have a test of knowledge with you. I was merely asking if you read up on stuff or you have actually experience. Plus what area of knowledge would we test? There are guys that know more about a certain car than others because, they either drive that particular car or have worked on them before. There are people that know more about a BMW then I do, I have never worked on one other then a few stereo installs. If you want to test my knowledge on your dad's car then you win because my parents don't own them, nor do I live at home so I can go sit in the cars and say they are mine, plus I have never worked on them and personally would never own one.
Your joke about Fast N Furious is a typical saying and comeback for an immature kid and never did I once refer to anything about the movie.

Now that I have got my point across and you say you are a car enthusiast what car related topics would you like to talk about? Usually when i ask car enthusiast questions they tend to be questions like what lift is better for my TJ? Because I can read all day sales ads about lifts but would rather hear from guys that have installed their lifts and their overall experience with their lifts. Now this is just one vehicle I own and have had several others but I think you get my point. If you are in the market to owning a car, then lets talk about your goals for a car, how much money you have in mind for a project, are you going to build your car or buy something off the show room floor and not mod it because of the warranty?

At 15 years old, I have neither the time nor the resources to tool around with the cars that are in my driveway. I can understand why you would respect the people who are actually under the hood. But please do not come to any conclusions or question my knowledge soley based on my age. I have been told that I posess more knowledge and speak with more class than people who have been "enthusiasts" for upwards of thirty years.

I am happy to discuss plans for my car. I can talk about long-term goals for modifications. Isn't that the reason why this forum was started in the first place?

Allow me to start it off. I will be inheriting a 1998 Lexus LS400, which I plan to convert into a JDM VIP Style car. I've already got a blueprint in my mind. What would you reccomend? Suspension? Wheels? Aero kits? Etc.?

I think my first question with this style is: is this going to be your daily driver? Reason being is usually nice "VIP Style" cars have a really low stance, expensive kits and expose the wheel lips. If the car is done right, I would almost not want to drive it every day.
