Vern told me to check the fuel pump and see if its an aftermarket one, the si used to be turboed long before I had it so im thinking its pumping too much fuel. I havnt checked it yet but that does make since...

Put stock fuel pump in, no check engine light anylonger, tiny bit of black smoke with I get on it and vtec is still not engaging?

you're burning oil. black smoke is never good. how do you know your vtec not engaging? i can barely feel mine...

Black smoke is often way too much fuel. Oil smoke is usually bluish.

I cant even change an rpm deference in my b16 or a sound change. I took care of all the fuel possibilities it could be besides replacing the injectors or the fuel rail...
