dammmn portsmouth is a hell of a drive,i live right next to''a bug house'' and the specialize in vw but since its a a less heard of shop they charge a arm and a leg to be able to pay the bills

like i said they wanted 150 to do thermostat
and 800+ headgasket
90+to scan for codes

and now probally like 400 to check my cooling system to find out why the lower radiator hose stays cool to the touch

just replace your water pump you can do it for less then 75 dollars

bug house can't fix a water cooled vw at all . they do know some stuff on air cooled

o its just who ive talked to about problems,they seemed fairly smart,plus a employee up there drives the same model car as mine is

well im going to drain the cooling system again then run water through the radiator till im convienced its not clogged and it that doesnt work ill do the waterpump on my next day off

next saturday
