i used to live about 2 miles from the track right off azalia (sp)... basically right next to henrico high. not a bad area... lots of houses and no apartments near where i lived. but that was 10 years ago. northside is a good place to start. its affordable and safe for the most part. i also lived in the far west end. expensive, but you get what you pay for. from what im told its a little overpriced now though. gl

hey man used to live up in short pump right by the crazy new town center. its a real nice palce but also gona go deeper into your pocket than chesterfeild or midlothian. lots of extraun wanted traffic also

if you plan on being there for more than 2 years.... BUY A HOUSE... i know it sounds hard, but its not nearly as hard as you think and it will be worth it in the long run. not to mention you will have your own place. just a suggestion

im gonna be a smartass here, so dont get mad... anyone ever heard of the Henrico bay? LOL me either, therefore, no draw bridges or tunnels are needed lol

You dont have to cross a bay to need a draw bridge, tunnel, etc..

heh, true but none of the rivers this way are deep enough or wide enough for big boats anyway

We have plenty of big ships comin up the james all the time. We just have bridges higher than 4 foot off the water
