How bout I plug in a scan tool and use it properly to read the code?
its not about proper or improper. jumping that harness is A proper, fast, and reliable way of doing it. thats why its there. its a dummy harness
at any rate, ive never heard of moisture on sensors causing this problem. you may have gotten moisture IN something though which could be causing it to throw the code.
.....I was trying to get some suggestions or input tonite. Does what Im saying sound feasible?........

I wasnt asking how to read the code, I was asking, like I stated in the second post if it was feasible to get a CEL from moisture in the sensors when I degreased the bay. I understand the other way works too, but thats not the right way to to do it. And the joke is not ON me, the joke IS you.
I dont understand why you are getting pissed off when people are trying to help you. You said you wanted to get some suggestion "tonite". So, people tried to give you a suggestion. Jumping that clip to check the CEL is there for a reason. You could've checked that CEL on your own in less than 2 minutes. That's almost faster than any of your reply on this post...... Relax.
i worked at hall honda and jumping it is the right way to do it. So u can go ahead and pay someone a couple hundred dollars to do it for your obd1 car or do it ur self. Ricer kids these days and their civics.
