i also noticed from the list that no corvettes are in the A class, they are all B, and no BMW's are in the B class (like jerry), they are A....

From my understanding you can only switch items from the same chassis. In other words E36 stuff can be swaped into another slightly different E36 if that car is in the same class. E36 engine into a E30 is what you are discussing and that would not be allowed (or only allowed in SM).
