juat an update. the shep tranny just came in today. im looking at possably up and running sometime next week(I HOPE) still a lot of changes to make and things to do. on a brighter note andrews(spoolin4) car is running amazing.

How long was the turnaround with Shep? I was looking at getting the stage 3 done, but my car is a daily driver so I Dont want it down too long. IF you had to wait 2 months im just gonna wait till I get a daily or the tranny takes a shit.

I guess turn around time would depend on how busy he is. The actual process of rebuilding the tranny isn't what takes long, shipping, and backed up orders get in the way. Mine was about a week and a half turn around, Brians was near 3 weeks or so.

 

andrew hit the nail right on the head. mine was roughly 3 weeks. but you also have to think my tranny was COMPLETELY trashed. he wasn't able to use anything, i even had to get a new case. hopefully it will be all together and ready to put back in the car in a few nights.

 

does anyone know if someone sell redline oils around here. i need some redline shockproof. i can get it online but i would rather get it local if i can. i know advanced sells the motor oil and mt-90, but they do not have the shockproof. anyone?

 

I may have some extra shockproof, let me check. how mcuh you need.
