I think this is gonna be heavily tilted toward imports not sure if Dave or CB dragway want domestics or not, me personally i'd rather just 4 cylinders but the more heads the better..

 

Thermal you should rollup man its been awhile my exhaust sounds ridiculus nothing like a honda..

 

The owner of the track milled the surface and repaved the track last year. The pit area is paved as well. It has a few more things to upgrade, but he is doing them as he can. I think he has and is doing a good job with the place. I am old enough to remember when it wasn't much of a track! I know it has come a long way since then. My hat is off to him..

 

I don't have anything negative about domestics comming 87vette. This event is being held for the guys who like to hang out as well as the racers. It just gives you the advantage of calling someone out without the hassles from the cops or the dangers of street racing. I know the track owner is doing this to bring in a new customer base. Basicly the import crowd. But I think the "import" crowd is mostly young or young thinking people. it doesn't matter what you drive, if you are a "young" thinker. I like the import vs. domestic match-ups. But I understand the friction between them as well. I would welcome anyone who drives a domestic but wouldn't want the ones who flame on the imports. I don't think it would be a fun event trying to keep people from killing each other because of that type of B.S. I do know that you will probably be challenged by alot of the import guys (so they can prove a point), but if you are looking to do just that, this will be the place for you on the 28th. I will be there if I can!!! I might not do much in the 1/8 but it will be fun. About the price, $10 is damn cheap. If we can get in and run for $10 that would be a deal!!! I think everyone can swing 10 bucks. I think it would be fun to have any "street" car be it a V8 or 4cyl

Where is this dragway?kinda new on the whole track scene but I love to race.Hell,let the v8's come cause we all know that imports can be faster than domestics sometimes,no offense but it feels good to beat a v8 in my honda!!
