Anyone else with a 96-00 EK have a rattling in their dash? sounds like a mildly loud vibration and like it's coming from under the the steering column. IMO it doesn't sound like anything bad, only seems to do it in the cold too. just wondering if anyone else has this problem, or knows what's up with it.

haha yeah, ive been in like 7 civics in the last week and each one sounds like a diffrent location

 

i just wanted to make sure other honda's did the same thing before trying to take my time to fix it.

also, anyone got any ideas about a squeaking clutch...one guy down here at school said a leak in my master cylinder. i'm not so sure that's what it is, i was thinking maybe a loose bearing (sp?) or something more like that?...i appreciate the help.

change in the change thing? happens to me all the time but you cant rule out the obvious...

 

no it's a different vibration than the change...and anyways i gots no change, i'm broke

 

i suggest not beating it like the guy in the allstate commercial.......

 

dude i took my guage bezel apart and put thin felt tape on the edge like the stock shit, it fixed alot of it haha, took a while
