Question H23 block with a H22 head

i recenlty got a Si prelude. it's got the H23 motor in it but i want my VTEC back.. i figure i could have the head machined on but i don't know how much of a pain it would be.. or if it would be better to just do a whole swap?

no the bottom end equals to low compression with vtec but you get more torque and that block isnt good for turbo the sleeves are made of a different material that isnt iron so i cant take boost.but it is a closed deck design and if you plan to boost or put new pistons in there then you have to resleeve the block pm for more info if any is needed

i dissagree with everyone.....

go with the JDM h22a swap....its gotta closed deck unlike the USDM h22a1 It will be alot more reliable and easier. you have to do a few things to get the oil delivery correct in the h23a block.
