the use of a forum is for people to spread their knowledge and information.

knowledge and information?what knowledge or info did he give me in that post?how about he teaches me to chip ECUs so i can start charging $150 to do it myself.hell, make a how-to thread about it so we can all do it for free instead of paying for it....or,maybe i'll just start replying to people's questions with "i know how to fix it,but it'll cost you $xxx",as opposed to actually posting the info.that's the same vibe of this thread-there's no info or knowledge whatsoever being shared.
it's a commercial post, period.read the rules.trial member or not,it doesn't matter-especially if your first post is this crap.if you're gonna make money off this site,at least become a sponsor.it's that simple.
selling used items in the classifieds and advertising a for profit service in a regional forum are two totally different things.
are you his buddy or something?why so defensive?are you a sponsor?you're doing the same thing, just a little more subtle than making a dedicated post about it(if a bright red ad in your signature can be called subtle).
ban the both of yous.....jeez,i'm kidding on the ban thing.this thread should definitely be deleted, but i don't think the guy should be kicked out.

I don't see why it makes a difference either way.

Also, you are charging out the ass, IF anyone uses you, they are getting ripped.

aaannnddd?i never said you were a guy.
still against the rules.to become a sponsor is $20 a month.if you chip one ECU at your rediculous rates a month, you're still making money,so why not spend the $20 and do it the right way?
