Well Virginia Tech is predominantly white. So I'd imagine an Asian male would stick out. Then again 0800-1000 is probably the most busiest part of the day. What I don't understand is why they didn't shut down the campus when the first incident occurred around 0715. I'm mad they decided to let class go as scheduled.

Yeah. There was a phone interview with a student who was on the third floor above the shootings (which were on the 2nd floor). He said he saw people jumping out of the second and third floor buildings to try to get away from the shooter.

Maybe the majority of students are white, but I see lots of Asians, Blacks, and people from the India/Pakistan area every time I go up there. Sorry, I'm sure there is a term to describe them that I'm missing, but my mind isn't working that well right now.
