exactly, so it's not a well known "fact"...you specifically pointed out a specific race/lifestyle whatever you want to call it...yes there are "a lot of people" that don't want their kids to get bad grades... but no, it's not a "well known fact" that asians or any other race/lifestyle make their children get straight A's. Asians come across as "smarter" (or whatever word you want to enter there) then other ethnic groups but that in no way means that their all of their parents forced and beat them into getting straight A's
many topics on this....a well known lifestyle that most asains do live up to.
few random pages.. saying it's the parents rules of grades that helped/forced them to do well in school.

I've never been a huge fan of Tim Kaine, but I will say he gave one of the better speeches I've heard in a while, even with all the religious references...

Sources tell ABC News Cho bought his first gun, a Glock 9 millimeter handgun, on March 13; they say he bought his second weapon, a Walther .22 caliber pistol, within the last week. The serial numbers on both guns had been filed off, they said.
Authorities found the receipt for the 9 millimeter handgun in Cho's backpack. They say the bag also contained two knives and additional ammunition for the two guns.
Legal permanent resident aliens may purchase firearms in the state of Virginia. A resident alien must, however, provide additional identification to prove he or she is a resident of the state.

well, if you want to believe Jack Thompson or Dr. Phil, then video games are responsible for the shootings. http://www.gamestooge.com/2007/04/16...ech-shootings/
...because nobody has ever been killed before the advent of games *ahem*
I can't stand it when people use tragedy to try and further their own [political] agenda.
