Id say an 03 cobra would be on my list. Easy to mod, easy to get going quick.

Well I stand corrected, and I will admit when I'm wrong. The factory supra tt is the better car overall, and I was very mistaken about the factory handling. But the factory 300zxtt is the better car for the price.

Put another $7000 in suspension and power upgrades which will make up for the price difference as tested by road and track, and remove the super hicas and variable dampening componets, the 300zxtt performance numbers will increase, I have no hard evidence as to the exact numbers but we can both agree that they will increase.

I appologize for not looking into the actual weight difference between the two cars, I only knew that the modded weight of a 300zxtt with lightened components was around 3300 lbs. I thought that the coparable weight of a supra was around 3500, I stand corrected, now knowing that they are just about equal.

Oh as for the 300zxtt being slow, well I don't know what you drove, talk to anyone who drove a modded 300zxtt they will tell you first hand how "slow" it is! And as for looking ugly and a lack of style you're dogging the strengths of the car!

Umm...not sure if you are talking to me about what I drive but my name kinda gives it away. HENDRICK EDITION is the only other guy that replied towards you and that is EXACTLY what he drives, its also in his sig. Its cool that you have admitted that you were wrong. Not many people will do that.

Oh yeah I don't think I chimed in as to what I would take as my choice. I would take a 97-98 Supra with low miles and BPU it

i said RX-7 cause it seems to fit his pattern of cars. I agree with rico on his Supra rant. seeing as you'd be buying the RX-7 you'd want to buy a new motor anyways, so thereby eliminating any chance of motor problems. It'll be a weekend toy and that is definetly something the FD would be good for. Mods can be easily found by way of a machine shop. i wonder why there was no mention of an E36 M3?
