Default antique license plates

do they exist for motorcycles? i went to the dmv asking, and they said yeah. i checked the dmv website and it wouldn't let me order a real antique plate, just a novelty plate. anyone know anything on this?

My '77 Yamaha is registered as an antique. There are limits on how much you're supposed to ride it and such, but nothing too bad. It also lets you avoid inspections and registration renewal.

pssshh.. depends on your tastes i guess. i still like the look of antique bikes. "sport bikes" weren't really around 25 years ago, more like sporty standards (kawi kz's, suzuki gs's, etc). old iron is still my fav, just hard to find anything that hasn't been neglected or beaten to death.
