Lt. Dan, it's legal for the drag races, but why not trust it for a road course?
the big reason why it wouldn't pass tech for use on a road course is because it's missing a diagonal brace in the main hoop. Also, if you look at the long rear braces, instead of connecting to the vehicle directly, it looks like it connects to a "strut brace".... that offers no rigidity in a crash. That strut brace would bend and allow the main hoop to collapse. That's why. Still a nice looking car though...

the portions right near the horizontal cross brace on the hoop, they come diagonally down and back... those wouldn't count? what if they were just diagonally down, not back?
Yea, i know saw what your saying about not connecting directly. I've been thinking of cutting and re-welding it. I don't know why that wasn't done in the first place.
