You are misunderstanding what people are saying. Unfortunately, you have one fucktard here that is completely misrepresenting your car. I, for one, love 350z's. I think they are an awesome car, the look great, and they perform well. But mr. m3 this thinks his 350 can smoke anything on the road.
What it boils down to is, anyone can go and google some factory specs on either car. The question is, what does YOUR (M3 this) 350 run? What does YOUR 350 trap? What hp numbers does YOUR 350 put on the dyno?

A few people mentioned handaling, but gave no support to their statements. They need to keep in mind that the EVO comes with VERY sticky tires stock and it greatly improves the road feel.
With equal tires, grip is grip no matter what platform you are using. It gets intersting though when it's time to use the throttle, advantage goes to the EVO. It takes more time and balls to get the Z to that level of corner exit speed. Both are great cars and I love to see them at VIR when I go, except when the rain starts, then they get alot closer to me!
