You're trying to say that SRT-4s handle well, and they don't! Any car can handle decently when purposely modified to execute in such a fashion. The original poster said he would do basic mods, which still won't equate into an "excellently handling" vehicle as you so eloquently put it. That is, unless you're comparing the handling to that of an Excursion.

they do handle excellently. I had one with hotchkis springs, a gt cruiser front swaybar, and an acr rear swaybar, and the car transitioned great, had a ton of grip, and was pretty neutral for a fwd car. not to mention body roll (which is the only bad aspect of the stock car) which was greatly reduced. the only other thing the car needed was a set of wider tires with a stiffer sidewall since the 205/50/17 rolled under the wheel before it gripped giving it a sloppy feel.

how many have you owned or driven?

Shawn, you flip/flop a lot. You've talked more shit about your SRT4 while you owned it than anyone else on this forum!

yeah, the wiring harness had a short in it causing it to blow a 20 amp fuse. after that was replaced under warranty it gave me 20,000 trouble free miles for the next year. the only problems mine gave me was the wiring harness short, and a leaky windshield cowl, both of which were fixed under warranty. I was pissed off at it, just as anyone would be if their brand new car left them stranded. but it got fixed and never gave me another problem, and I beat the piss out of that car.

20,000 trouble free miles, and it probably still handled like a turd.

what it really comes down to in the end, is only you know what you like.

I'd reccomend test driving them all before ruling them out.
