my parents bought me a 8k ford ranger that i got and paid 170$ a month for threw high school, now my second year in college and i bought my Z and pay 289$ a month and i will have it paid off when i graduate and then i can move on to something else. just be smart with your money and don't burn your self into a hole.

 

I guess i wasn't thinking at the level most of you are, as far as a used car.

i just don't see the point in financing a cheap car for that long just to get a low payment.

not that i've never hd a sub $200 car payment before, but it was only for 10 months.

 

6-7k on a car at my age and wage is well worth 200-250 a month

 

i sell new Honda's, i see people all the time that come in so upside down that there is no way to get out of their car with out putting 5000 down. listen to everyone and DON'T buy a car from a buy here pay here places.

He probably did get it financed but most likely not at a butt-raping interest rate. All you need right now is an A to B car. We all went through that when we were younger so just be patient. You are gonna have buyer's regret for the next 60-72 months

We're not saying it's bad to finance. However to finance at a place like you're thinking of going and paying 23% interest on a 72 month loan is fucking retarded.

Go through a bank or credit union, get your parents to co-sign and get a decent rate under 8%
