Anyone know where to go in the 757 to find someone who knows how to pop a nasty bead? I need a 225/40 popped on a 18X9.5 and iam havin troubles...i got one on, but after 2 afternoons wasted on the other 3 i need to just get them on no matter what, need a Cheetah or something. Anyways anyone know? appreciate it.

 

why not just buy the right size tire and be done with it...

 

Yeah, buy the right sized tire. That is way too stretched, if you corner hard once you'll break the bead. I got 2 265/35 R18 for sale.

haha, yeah screw that...I almost ate some concrete once from my bead breaking on the racing karts. we was running at Franklin County Speedway. 3/8 high banked asphault oval....shit aint cool at all when ya tire comes off the rim at those speeds...id deff get a new tire. cause you could be taking somone elses life also by ghetto riggin street tires like that.

 

That's not even that much a stretch. Call around to your local shops and see what they say. Also, try a quick search. I remember seeing a thread quite a while back that had a few recomendations for shops.

 

Its not that bad, i got one on with a lil effort....and iam drifting not really road racing....that and without a stretch it will suck to try and get them to fit the car without over fenders or something.

Starter fluid. That's how I did mine!!!!!!!! Take the shrader valve off and boom you go. No one would mount mine, so I searched a little....got a little flamed on, but all came out good.
