7 inches isnt enough in my personal opinion for 44s, but thats what you like, so im not knocking that, im just saying i would want to clear them with just lift. i had 38s with 6 inch lift on mine and i hated how it looked. ive never seen one clear 35s stock, lol.
i agree...
6" lift=35s
9" lift=38s
12" lift=42s
14" lift=44s
ive never been one to use cut out flares......just doesnt look right.
i plan on having a 13-14" lift on my chevy 2500 crew cab with 44" boggers
have had 36's on with minor fender cutting stock . . i had 7 inches with 35's . . don't look good to me . .
here are some of the phases and lifts my truck has been threw
36's no lift
35's 3 inch body
7 inches . . 35's . .
7 inches 39's
7 inches 44's with cut out flares
no flares
atleast he cut where the rust usually starts i have seen an 85 k5 with 44s that had no lift at all. waste of a truck in my opinion. but hey, they paid for it, its theirs.
looks good man, but i think when people start liftn the short beds up real high they look funny, long beds are my route if im going lifted. imo
see I got a buddy that has a short bed f150 with like 12 inhes of lift and 39.5's and he loves the short bed . . . myself I perfer the longbed . . . guess it's all a matter of opinion
