I made a plate that bolts to the left side swingarm for my inspection sticker. Steve is right, as long as it's on the left side and visable, there shouldn't be any problem. Any inspection station can inspect a bike...some might make stuff up though! They use the same stickers as the trailers do.

You only need one mirror, and the code doesn't say which side it has to be on...left is probably standard like a car. Also, if you have turnsignals on your bike, they have to work. If they don't work, take them off and you should pass.

I like inspection in Hampton. I do not think my inspector inspected alot of bikes, because he was trying to figure out where to put the sticker too.
