Got a 47.7 on my final run. Might not sound good but it was my first time and my 70hp cx motor wasn't helping me too much. Plus the Nitto NT 450's are horrible when wet. I slid around the whole course.

It was obvious when I spun out after the finish on my third run. Appologies to anyone I scared the pants out of!

I missed his last two runs as I was getting my car ready. Nice clean crux though. Only one there to boot!

thanks, I want to get tires, but I dont know what kind or brand, or what size, maybe you can pm me or something to give me some advice.
thanks all, I had a great time and would love to do it again.

The best advice for you on tires would be to stay with street tires until you gain more experience. I was on street tires for a good while before I made the switch to R-Compounds and I am a better driver because of it.

blah, racers are not patient ppl, hehe

if you were to get r-compounds, i think most ppl on here would say the best bang for the buck are Khumo Victoracers.

FOOKEN SHAT!!! well, I guess this ends right where it starts... I wrecked my car, pretty much lost traction on a wet road on a ramp onto a high way. Hit the rails on both sides several times. Hit so damn hard my seat is disfigured, Im not, (I mean I was disfigured before the accident anyways). Every panel except for the roof is damaged. Still drivable, I drove it home. But Im thinking what to do now. Should I take it to insurance company, or should I get a cheap cx from a salvage yard with a decent body and just swap everything over. I dont know if the insurance will fix it or total the car. Anybody got any ideas? please pm me.
Thanks
Leo

Well, I figured since I post it on the BMW boards why not here (even though most of the people here have no clue what most of the components are !)......

Too bad about your accident, good to see you are OK. But this just an example why you should learn to drive the car a bit better before investing in things like race tires.
