thanks everybody! glad you all like the bike. its the perfect little cruising machine. it handles pretty good, and isn't nearly as uncomfortable as my cb750 is.
bigbodycrx, i sent you a pm but i'll mention that stuff here too.

Never dull works very damn well. hit the very crusty spots with fine grit steel wool. then polish the aluminum stuff with a mothers powerball and the powerball liquid polishing compound.

i'm hoping this customer calls me back, he's quite old and just pulled a 78 honda cm200t twinstar out of his garage that he bought brand new, rode for like a year, and then parked it in the back of his garage for almost 30 years. He said his wife wants it gone so i said make me the first person he calls. But that really gives me some inspiration if I get it.

hmm, i'll ahev to show those pics to my boss. he picked up a pretty clean cb450 4 banger, and wants to do the cafe thing, but his ideas of what a cafe bike is are a bit warped.
