i used alpines for my door speakers and rear 6x9's in my last integra. I thought they sounded pretty good...clear and had a good little amount of bass.

I have been out of car audio for many years but if I was building a system today I would probably use whatever head unit of decent make I had laying around or if I was getting new I would probably get a midrange alpine.

For front speakers I have always used mb quart components, rear speakers are not needed unless you got a suburban or some other huge suv. for subs I would probably get a single 12 inch image dynamics either idmax or id v.3 and for amps I would get something older off ebay from a good maker. I am still using a 10 year old phoenix gold m50, and they can be had on ebay for cheap when they are available.

I was just about to say MB Quarts actually, as I was rereading this thread. I forgot about it(go figure)

Back when I was semi into the stereo system, I almost got some. I have infinity's in the rear now, but I think I'm just going to replace it all minus the CD player.. over a spread out period of time though of course.

That's basically how I remembered it, minus the MTX info...

Oh yea, I used to have a 12" Kicker L7 Solarbaric and I loved that fucking thing. I had it hooked up to a 400W bridged RF amp, it was awesome.
