Default EMS tuning

Just bought an EMS for my car. Any suggestions on tuning? How much should I expect from fuel/boost/timing control? Only thing that really sucks is the drive by wire. Evil ECU controlling my throttle. blah.

You better hope they did a lot of safety validation on their engine control model. Drive by wire is nothing to play around with..

Get it tuned somewhere by someone who is familiar with the EMS systems.. A couple of hours on a dyno will save days and days of street tuning usually.

it would help if you actually stated what kind of car, modifications, goals, and what system it was. At this point, we have no clue what the fuck you're actually looking for.

What kind of car is it? Do you have a common setup or something more out there?
