Not a flame thread, I'm just curious. (also, sorry if this is the wrong section) Is it connection issues? Server issues? I frequent other forums, some with more traffic/bandwidth than this, and they seemingly rarely go down. I understand its ran by one man, but so are the other forums. (all expense comes out of one mans pocket, but vadriven has patrons) Still, I would imagine the connection to be at least a couple of hundred a month. Just wondering. . . 14+ hours is a long time to be down. Also, what OS is the server running?

I'm just wondering, how do you know how much bandwidth/traffic VADriven gets?

 

that's not true, there are shitloads of days when it's spotty up and down and the items you click just hang-on until they timeout (without loading)

I've been getting database errors just about every day. It does suck during the day cause this site runs my work day lol.

 

More of a speculation than anything. I'm on a forum that has less total members (14k+) but about 400 of them post daily and frequently. To add, the server also offers its own hosting software where it loads to the server itself)

That being said, I would have to disagree. This forum has gone down several times, but not to the same duration.
