Hoiw many miles? 03-04 dodges carry the 7yr/70,000 mile warrenty
its probably a valve in the Valve body. when i had my 96 neon ATX a few yrs ago, it did almost the same thing, so i swapped out Valve bodies and it worked great.

Really? Because I've had 2 Mustangs in the past 5 years that have never been to a shop over night.

Total issues that I had with a Mustang GT and a Cobra

1. Mustang would not start 2 weeks after I bought it
Cause - Loose ground on engine. Fixed in 10 minutes

2. Cobras battery light would come on.
Cause - Battery was bad. Replaced battery

GTFO with that shit that american cars suck. I see more threads on here where people have issues with their imports

Shit...my first Mustang had 1 or 2 issues but it wasn't broke all the time

Radiator went to shit when I bought it, but that was due to previous owner neglect.

Went through a water pump at 156K and a brake booster at 167K and 2 transmissions (Shitty Ford AOD-E)

if you have a decent scanner, monitor the trans input and output speed sensors, likely you will have a signal dropout. very common on the tranny in that vehicle.
